- Prefix
- BOCU
- Owner or operator
- The BOC Group Inc
The four-letter prefix BOCU appears at the start of ISO container identification numbers and is associated with The BOC Group Inc.
A complete container number combines the owner prefix, six-digit serial number, and check digit. The prefix identifies registered equipment ownership and does not always identify the carrier currently transporting the container.
Use the complete number to request available tracking events. If no events appear, confirm the operating carrier because leased or exchanged equipment can move under another shipping line.
BOCU container number format
A container number starting with BOCU has the four-letter prefix, a six-digit serial number, and one check digit, for example BOCU1234567.
Tracking a BOCU container
Enter the full BOCU number to request events. The prefix identifies the owner, but leased or exchanged equipment can travel with another shipping line, so check the operating carrier if nothing appears.
