A complete container number combines the owner prefix, six-digit serial number, and check digit. The prefix identifies registered equipment ownership and does not always identify the carrier currently transporting the container.
Use the CargoEnter container validator to check the number structure before starting shipment tracking.

A container number starting with MERU has the four-letter prefix, a six-digit serial number, and one check digit, for example MERU1234567.
Who uses MERU containers
MERU is registered to Mariana Express Lines. Leased or exchanged equipment can move with a different shipping line, so the prefix alone does not identify the carrier of a shipment.
