Stretch wrap (stretch film) is a highly stretchable plastic film wrapped around palletized loads to hold them together and provide some protection from dust and moisture. The film's elastic properties create tension that keeps products secure. Application can be manual or automatic with pallet wrapping machines. Common materials include LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene). Proper wrapping prevents shifting and provides basic load integrity during transport.
