Container Prefix Directory

ADDU Container Prefix Owner

ADDU is a container owner code associated with VOS Added Logistics BV. Learn how BIC container prefixes identify equipment owners and operators.

Prefix: ADDU
Owner or operator: VOS Added Logistics BV

The four-letter prefix ADDU appears at the start of ISO container identification numbers and is associated with VOS Added Logistics BV.

A complete container number combines the owner prefix, six-digit serial number, and check digit. The prefix identifies registered equipment ownership and does not always identify the carrier currently transporting the container.

Use the CargoEnter container validator to check the number structure before starting shipment tracking.

ADDU container number format

A container number starting with ADDU has the four-letter prefix, a six-digit serial number, and one check digit, for example ADDU1234567.

Who uses ADDU containers

ADDU is registered to VOS Added Logistics BV. Leased or exchanged equipment can move with a different shipping line, so the prefix alone does not identify the carrier of a shipment.
